I'd have a weekly feature in this thread. -

I think his stuff is quite nice, but if i was going to put so much work in to it i would think about handling for a second and not make the headangles so flat. The scooter and the bike must both handle like a tank. Still i would not mind taking them around the block.

his bikes make me want to learn to weld.
Yeah. Welding is one of the most useful things ever. I've made frames using tig and brazing before, and I'm making a street luge frame at the moment.
Here's a picture of a trials bike frame I made for my A level tech project:

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/gallery/1206793351/gallery_13468_1764_156709.jpg
And to prove it worked!
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/gallery/1206793351/gallery_13468_1764_49332.jpgIt was fillet brazed from butted 4130 tubing. Rode pretty nicely, but was a bit on the heavy side for competition stuff.
Buy your own welding kit and do it in your back garden, it's the best investment you'll ever make!

Fuck me, seriously good effort. Can't have been easy making the brazes with the tubes so close together. How easy is it to get hold of the tubing?

It was a couple of years ago. Don't think it counts as a current project any more! It's on my bedroom wall now, collecting dust. I managed to put a crack in the headtube eventually, doing a gap to front wheel. Rubbish!
