Ha! I've seen that in the flesh. And I can testify the owner was checking for people looking at his bike. A genuine face of "everyone is looking at me, I must be cool".

Know someone who just got an Aventon because "its a really good quality frame". Are there any examples of nice ones?

Hmm, what I thought. Wants a disc rear and spok up front.

Going by the 'pro' mechanics I've met, whoever sets up the bikes for Wiggins and hayles may not have realised you can flip a stem for rise.

I think it's something to do with keeping the main triangle smaller to make the frame stiffer. I could probably be wrong.

Those Thickslicks really seem to do a great job of attaching themselves to so many awful bikes
-
• #39749
Hardly, switch out the red chainring and I'd ride that.
-
• #39750
Even if I swapped the red chainring and the blue chain and the mismatched green grips and chopped the steerer I'd still hate the frame. But it's set up nicely, I give you that
By the police, presumably, on the grounds of a gross public offence
