Still. Frame will be subjected to more stress with a larger / heavier wheel.

Lose the monkey on the seatpost, add foot retention, sort out the bar tape/tyre selection and the last one isn't really that awful for a visp! Could be 100x worse and wouldn't take much for '07 hhsb...

OK, just catching up with this thread. I've gotta know what's wrong with this one. It's the coolest damn thing I've seen in a long time. Dirt drops, discs, a frame that does not have to be split to change the belt, belt drive and internally geared hub. The paint may not be to every taste, but I'd ride the hell out of this.

What stresses does wheel weight on a bike's front affect? A little increased inertia? Meh. There would be stress from more grip braking and turning but neither of these are a big deal. Any frame buils to withstand fat mamils through potholes it'll be overbuilt for these stresses.

Monster truck wheels are driven and er... have no parallels really with the wheels of a bike.
