Maybe they meant "designed despite a partnership...." - where though might work.
That Colnago looks stupid with those bars/grips and the fact that it was probably once a lovely looking road bike. Damm shame.

What is it with deep f-ing profile wheels? It's a reasonably decent old bike that would probably look fine with some 27"s on, but yet the owner wants to spunk cash on weinman 18s that just make the thing look gap-toothed.

^^
For some reason that really reminds me of this guy. Especially if he was naked and wearing a pair of white socks & sandals.

In future can you keep your fantasies to yourself please?

I actually have this same bike, except mine was made without the affiliation of Eddy Merckx.
I use it to ride to the about town as my backup bike, I had wanted to turn it into a relaxed 3 speed cruising bike with a large flatbed/basket on the front. But I havent been able to afford any parts, so out of desperation if put my fixed wheel on it because the original steel 5 speed wheel was badly dented. it feels enormous to ride and makes a good town bike.I dont get what it is with people who see a bike that looks really old, and assume throwing piles of £cash at it will turn it into a super urban fixie retro classic hipster hop race bike?
Its got DT swiss RR 1.2 rims on it which cost £50 each, yet its still running the original cotter cranks (which are better suited to the bike of course) this is one confused bicycle.

it could be yours!
I won the auction for this bike at £127 & I thought it was an OK deal . After some emails , the seller got back to me after 4 days saying that the bike was stolen yesterday . I'm now after my money back ..... dodgy or what . I'd be better off with a Unipak haha

yeah I doubt that was stolen. More like he wanted more money for his precious bike (which looks to have been built from a parts bin)

oops well spotted Wayne.
Didn't notice when I shot it. The bike is very nice though, not my type but well put together and extremely light! I guess a brakeless hardcore geometry track frame would have made no sense for the Richard James customer. This is more likely to be bought by some fit City guy with too much money to burn. -

them wheels would cost you something like £200 to build. Totally inappropriate for the bike though of course.
Although its a very "wrong" bike as is. £127 is kind of a bargain, I cam Imagine he put a lto of money into it. so of course hed be making excuses!
Brutal
