think the last two are a bit harsh! de rosa just needs stem slam, saddle sorted out and destickered rear wheel and great pub bike. would ride the orrell!

^I second that, would defo like to ride the Orrell! The tanwalls are maybe a bit much and the stem could be a tad longer but it's an easy fix.

^^3-4 cans of beer is fine to relax when building up a bike but the creator of this must have had 10 cans after which everything in the world seems lovely.

You can take the compressor out once you have done up the steerer clamp on the stem. Not saying your headset adjustment will last forever (especially with the now-deprecated "steerer not passing all the way through the stem" set up), but it won't explode and kill you instantly.

the most expensive conversion EVER?

1. The dérailleur hangers have a habit of snapping off P3s/P2Cs, so a conversion is a way to keep a $2000 frame instead of binning it thanks to a non-replaceable hanger.
   
2. Second hand P3s are cheap and plentiful, T3s are hen's teeth
   
   

It's not a pretty bike, but just being a P3 without a dérailleur doesn't make it anti (and you'll have @xavierdisley to answer to if you say it does), and it's far from being the most expensive bike to have suffered such an indignity anyway.
