Centre-pull brakes, innit?

^^^^Change stem and saddle and I'd love that as a commuter and for the odd weekend trip to me Da's house (140 miles away).

• #34240
Change bartape and it's ok with me. Not a fan of white spokes but I can live with it in this combination.

Not sure if Fizik or Sybian. The Bolide is pretty ugly in any colour, Wiggo's JPS paint job only makes it worse.

Only joking yeah your right I am going to gear down for next winter I spend must of my time riding around at 70 rpm, not a lot of good when I am trying to spin at 90 for a TT.

Centre-pull brakes, innit?
Well yes, but the cable is not usually trying to pull the brake outwards off its mounting stud. It looks bloody awful, even if it technically works.

• #34245
sorry but
Fair enough I feel. This is the internet and when building this bike I knew many people would hate it, hence I love it so much more.
It rides incredibly though, Win in my book. Ive had my time with bikes that look good, Much more fun to ride bikes that ride good. or Have both!

Problem with the brake path is the decision to mount the seat stays so far down the seat tube without thinking through what kind of brake would work best with that angle.
tl:dr - disc brakes

Yea we had a completely different design for how the rear brake was to work, A small tube through the seat tube and a slot cut in the seat post, so The cable would run up the wishbone,
But it never quite happened. I guess building frames in your shed never goes according to plan. haha. still works this way, just looks ugly. This bike was never ment to be pretty. Otherwise I would have just built something similar to what i already have. there is no fun in that.
Tl:dr FUCK YEA BIKES, I would be riding if I wasnt stuck at work.
