  • ^^ holy coconut macaroons

  • ahhh its a shit version of my bike.
    1) where is the back brake?
    2) what is that ugly frame?
    3) what is that wank gear ratio/

  • sorry if it makes your eyes hurts...

  • Not bad for a leader.

  • what are top tube pads for again?

  • nice aero postion

  • The owner must be steering with their face.

  • T-rex level +99999999999

  • What really puzzles me is the fact that someone must have looked at a bike and thought to himself, "this clearly ain't working, surely we can do better."

  • The history of dumb inventions is littered with examples of 4-limb cycle propulsion, all created by people who forgot to do their homework re. limiting factors in human powered vehicles. Since the limit is metabolic, and that limit can be exploited by either legs or arms, splitting it between both just adds mechanical losses without making any extra power available. Since I don't click on DM links, can somebody tell me whether this particular invention causes or prevents cancer?

  • i thought futura would have been more an artist, rather than a designer, no?
I know he was involved with a clothes range, and I have a few nosferatu pieces
he also did album artwork, for the clash amongst others
he used to be a courier, hence the link to the pista's
the find was probably the highest yielding ever, i think around 35 master pistas and a few roadies,in storage,
la carrera managed to get stash and futura involved, the total sales must have exceeded 300,000 dollars

I walked in to La Carrera a few years ago and very nearly bought one of the Futura track frames to build up. Thing is, I would have just ridden it, not caring about potential future value if left untouched.

  • ^^Judge for yourself...

  • The fuck is that? like seriously, what the fuck is it.

*"Varibike looks like a regular bicycle, with traditional foot pedals, but additionally comes with a set of cranks that the rider turns with their arms to make it easier and faster when cycling"* <~ this line, epic.

I can't even find a word "cancer" on those page....

    good fer you

  • sorry if it makes your eyes hurts...

I think this level of commitment is pretty cool, if you're a Japanese fixie girl... I reckon it's the kind of thing scoot would've built if it weren't for sumo.

  • ^ Hhaha!
    Unlucky Scoot

  • haha ^^

  • There's gyms with cardio machines that are "hand cycles" Maybe he got his unholy inspiration there.

  • ^ Costs £4000 and weighs 15kg.

    And looks stupid.

    And what mdcc said.

    Ahem

A recent study by the New Mexico State University found that although the same heart rate is achieved when arm cranks are added to a bicycle, like those on the Varibike, pictured, an arm- and leg-powered drive gives a cyclist 31 per cent more power..

can't figure out how to imbed so just click the video... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2409700/Varibike-Cyclist-creates-bicycle-pedalled-feet-HANDS.html

    Steering must be quite terrifying.
