Second time I am confused for a him on LFGSS. Mildly amused :)

Well now that's cleared up I'm sure the friend requests will be flying in.
...and anyway, worked nights for 3 years, wasn't much else to do after they blocked iPlayer so spent alot of time in here looking at ugly bikes.
Looked at so many that I ended up liking them, and the HHSB thread was born.

Expecting one from you any time, you're welcome.
Does blocking iPlayer with a consequence of ugly bike exposure not count towards cruel and unusual punishment?
May be FAIL rather than anti. Either way, waste of a good frame/crankset.

Why do I really want that^? It's awesome.

Really? It looks like a death trap! If it's a normal trolley it will occassionally hurl you off at right-angles to your intended direction. On the plus side the frame hasn't been trashed and so could be re-used. I can't tell whether the fork has been welded to the trolley or just bolted on. If it's just bolted on then the whole trolley thing is really just an accessory, which is weirdly cool.

After the wack attack that just preceded it, it now looks like it should be in porn thread

the word bling sums it all up really. Makes me think of fake fur seat covers in minicabs, and the ornate box of tissues on the back shelf. And fluffy dice.

How can the word 'bling' sum up a bike with absolutely no chrome, boring parts and an utterly humdrum wheelset?

only if you lean. What have we learnt about leaning?
I'd build one if I could get it to do barspinz -

I associate the word bling more generally with tacky, cheap, tasteless crap. Not just shiny things. It sums up the vapid set of ideals the bike is being marketed for.

Bling may be tasteless, but it's always shiny.

If I were tigerprint bike owner I'd make it extra anti with gold coloured anodised parts and a purple saddle/tape. I'd then cycle it wearing a white suit while blasting rap from a bike radio. No half measures.
