It can be practical and anti at the same time. It is.

:(
I knew I should've bought more carbon bits.

The world champ(?) strips on the frame, the headtube, the seat clamp are ugly.
Fair enough re build but why take photo...on a bridge? Ridden there untaped bars?
Huuuge spacer stack and steep neg rose stem? Trying to keep to an aesthetic and failing.I really, really like that Focus. Just needs tape and steerer cut, looks like a fresh build though so maybe owner is trying out the fit.

Is that the 61cm? It is a bit of a monster, size-wise

Non-aero levers, clamp on cable guides and down tube shifters?
Fucking re-enactment bikes.
I looked at that Catina some time ago. Then decided to go for a frame of the era they're copying poorly. Better decision in hindsight.

I don't think I've ever seen so much wrong in one place. There is something really quite amazing about this build:
-
• #30335
comes close to pengy

• #30337

Was Pengy left side drive though?

That rear wheel is awfully reminiscent of a painted horse/cart wheel. Impressive.

Oh gosh, might be the 2nd/3rd thing closest to pengy so far.

Please read the thread, there is plenty of competition far worse than that.
i saw the frame before it was built up and the frame is stunning! It's currently for sale for £1K on the glasgowfgss site.
i'm sorry but it needs to be the way "God" intended.
edit - the pictures have gone but here's one i prepared earlier:
Bikesnob has all the fun
not as bad as this
This one is posted with a request for a powder pink front spok..Christ!
(Apparently a 12 year old built the second one)
We got another beauty!
Oh dear lord

Thats not too bad TM. It is annoying but I'd ride that with an ironic, smug smirk on my face. :-)

I do this with added Gothic side tongue.

Jwestland, I just clicked on random pages to find those.
If people are talking about competitors to Pengy, they should research the topic before blabbering nonsense.
IIATB yes, that is precisely what I do ha.

I'd love to see the day everybody on the internet would know what they're talking about.
Or come across less cuntish when correcting people
:)
Not anti, just a bike built for covering long distances quickly and in comfort.
Not the sexiest road bike, but I would def have it.
