What brake caliper does it have? Just need to check whether there is a single component on that which I wouldn't throw straight in the bin.
We need an "Approved by mdcc_tester" thread. Listing every component for most* categories of cycling.
*not sure if you play bicycle football

or the train ticket?
I don't think you can catch a train to the UCI rulebook, so I assumed he'd bin that too.

RE: Flying Gate.
Its not the best technical solution, and it may not be the best asthetic solution. But its an interesting design idea.
Also - Back in the day when plastering your frame with logos was not allowed. Having extreme design traits allowed the frame racers were riding to be reconised.

Did flying gate riders win stuff? (Sensible question, I know nothing of their history)

They were up there in UK races I think. Easy to spot. As were the curvy Hetchins chainstays etc.

After a Google I know now why Pinarello was pointed out as "gone to the hipsters...their high-end bikes still look OK but some of the city stuff is vile...
i can't agree about their high end bikes, to me the Dogma's that Sky ride are very anti looking. I am sure they are functional and have some good sales hype about the curvy fork and seatstays, but my god they are ugly (to me).

Hence the Hetchins "Curly Wurly" chainstays.
^ Ah well I have a high anti-tolerance perhaps, I wouldn't get a Pinerallo for looks either. BMCs on the other hand...
