Anyone sensible would consider a divorce if given such an ugly bike as a wedding anniversary present.
-
• #23859
It's the juxtaposition that gets me. Like a man with a broke leg forlornly watching Usain Bolt...
got original 650 forks:?

I appreciate this. Every other brand jumped on the fixie wagon by spitting out a unipack with nothing more a than a garish paintjob. This is actually creative and goes well with the brand image. The shape does not look like it will interfere with the function. Actually looks quite dynamic in a good way. Bike seems pretty decent as a bike in itself. Hasn't got the daft bullhorn + crosstops setup that seems so common. Good saddle for an OTP. Also the price isnt crazy compared to a bianch pista.
Are you having a laugh? It's fucking awful! In that respect it does 'go' well with the brand image.
The Pista is also an overpriced piece of shit, only being worth the £400 it sold at a few years ago.

I like this. Great piece of design. It's going to look a little kooky because its an electric bike, but they have done a great job making it look sporty. Can you see the way the battery clips in to the down tube? Great I think. But a motorised bike absolutely needs mudguards and perhaps a sprung saddle too which they probably skipped to keep it looking good.

Dual Speed! Record Titanium rear mech is there only as chain tensioner, therefore only one (left) Campagnolo Record Titanium ergo shifter is installed. Rear brake caliper hangs there solely for visual balance. No real braking there. Regardless of that it's a very nice & functional ride and I've been using it regularly. Very happy & proud of it. :) Many more details... Pantographed vertical tube (Ugo's Signature), Campy Cables etc. Stiil lookin' for newer, more rest-of-the-group-correct headset, but not in rush for that cause C-Record just looks the part! ... & would like to get Chromed railed Brooks switched with Titanium one. Same model, same color... Maybe that's why it hurts so much to actually go for it and pay double the amount for the thing! :)
