Two independant steering wheels = twice as good handling!
Or, do the rearest wheel lock so the bike becomes half as good in handling?
-
• #22292
With an offset fork and vertical steerer, the trailing wheel will caster OK, although with negative trail at the front the bike will be all but unridable whether solo or coupled together as a tandem trike. The pedal overlap will see to it that steering doesn't work even if the instability doesn't.

Also putting a spokeless wheel under tension like that is stupid.
I do seem to remember seeing a piece on a makeshift 3 wheel tandem. Someone attached a friends forks to there rear axle after his front wheel had failed......
....or somethin. -
• #22294
Sounds plausible, only really possible on steel forks though.

I'll never find it again. But yeah, twas with steel forks.
As my rear drop-outs are fecked, from towing far too heavy a rear axle mounted trailer. I'm not keen on the idea. Although the forks would be attached either side of the axle I guess.
