Just get yourself a pompino quick, before you spend many hundreds of pounds butchering a frame that was never designed to run canti's, run canti's. Its never going to work as well as a pompino. Plus pompino frames are actually pretty nice, the forks look a bit basic/ugly. But the frame and its wishbone rear end are ace.
I think I remember you actually buying a pompino already, seriously, just use it!
For the last time, the pompino is for my dad, the pompino is a great bike, but not as great as the BMW, plus the angle of the cable actually similar to the pompino much to my surprise.
I love the BMW, why should I not add brake on it? given that BMW themselves said that they can add braze on under request, and that included cantis.
Instead of getting BMW to do it, I got a local bloke to do it for £40, hardly 'hundreds of pounds'.

The roadie mercian is fine, I quite like it actually with a different wheelset in mind.
the fixie skidder is actually how he want it to be (custom order) - he used to live in London and I always see him riding it, it's still ugly though

They should get a pass tho, this photo is like 4 years old.
I'm sure there are 1000x worse bikes from that time out there. -
