The best thing about this is, it is so ugly, and wrong on so many levels and there are so may things to look at and go "what the fuck?" that hopefully it means people wom;t spot the chain on the Bianchi behind it...

that saracen is worth a cock chunder... they could've got it right if they'd just painted it matte black.
- actually - clearences and vertical dropouts? also is that a suspension seatpost?

vertical dropouts?
I think it has an eccentric BB
-
• #11290
ah yeah looks like it could be. still a god awful paint job though... looks like the result of a school art project.
-
• #11291
I think they'll sell more of the £460 model, 3-speed with cable discs and a less offensive paint job
http://www.saracen.co.uk/img/bikeimage/urban-rush-hires.jpg
though still with the pointless suspension post. Has it not occurred to them to just fit 40-50mm tyres on an URBAN bike? Schwalbe give a big enough hint by calling their fat slick Big Apple. -

Wow, this picture is like "where's wally?" Always something new to find. Is that an auxiliary delta brake?
Talking about the vivalo, bianchi picture by the way.

I love using big tyres on road, nothing's better than a smooth rolling Fat Frank tyres, funny thing is that it doesn't even slow you down much to what the myth told you.
must says that the Saracen also have an 8 speed alfine, which also explain the price, still doesn't explain the awful paintjob mind.
That 3 speeds disc look pretty good, didn't realise one exist in the first place, need that for my bike.

do you think saracen were trying to do this?
I know who would get my money, check out the rigid lefty.

do you think saracen were trying to do this?
Not really. Only the hub gear and disc brakes in common, and those seem to complete no-brainers for a high end urban bike. When somebody suggested that the Saracen should have been matt black, my mind went back to the Bad Boys too, but I'm not sure that it's the right colour choice. A single plain high visibility colour like RAL1023 or RAL2010 would seem sensible, maybe with some retroreflective panels.

i just think matte black is so damn sexy! ha... saw this cbr600rr in matte black the other day looked like a stealth fighter, seen an amg merc in MB as well,, just looks good on everything.
-
• #11298
Indeed, I've been toying with the idea of a matt black bike myself, I was just thinking of the ideal practical colour for an urban bike, where high visibility would be considered advantageous.

omg not that red one again!!!
that vulvalo is epic
i can't decide what excites me more, the 5 poke mavic, wanker pad, auxiliary-brak or papa-smurf?
