I've heard roadie call their training bike 'fixie', doesn't make much difference frankly.
I very very much doubt that is a training bike. Your right though, it does not make much difference, no matter what he uses it for. It's still fucking ugly.

Ok, I understand the first version of this as it had no downtube and was collapsible...
^^Those one's however, can only have such a deep top tube purely to fit the Puma logo.
Jayloo used to own one of these, She sold it for a mint.

He's called it a 'fixie'
DEFO a hipster, nodder, skidder
I thought it was a training setup too!
Neil is a brand manager at Fisher Outdoor Leisure and is responsible for both the Look and SRAM brands in the UK, thus it should come as no surprise that his 'fixie' is a Look 464 track frame.

Looks like mad fun to me. Want! (even though it would flex like a fucker).
-
• #11167
Well, I do have the folder version available. If you want to follow St Sheldon and spend vast amounts of time and money converting....
They are the next big thing . I am a known early adopter....

Shitload of fun to ride, and much to my surprise, it doesn't flex that much, rather stiff for a shopper.
who says you need to spend a lots of money on it? just get a coaster hubs, relaced the wheel and bob your uncle.
mine only cost slightly more due to needing a new crankset/bb after the old cottered one have a play in it's BB.

bob your uncle.
Ok, but I'm not sure he'll be too happy about it.....

Rude and quite painfull!
Other than the seatpost and maybe the Spinergy I don't hate it... Wouldn't be to my taste but I can kind of get it...
-
• #11171
and the spokes on the rear, and the backwards porteur bars, and the lack of clips and straps.
-
• #11172
I don't mind the spokes, the bars are a bit wrong but whatever's comfy for the owner, not my taste as I said... The lack of foot retention is inexcusable!
-
• #11173
green + pink + black = colour fail
very farcking ugly
seatpost is so wrong -
• #11174
hes got a brake so he doesnt really need foot retention
-
• #11175
He's got a DuraAce AX brake on that POS, so he needs a slap
