When I was in Greece if you wanted a coffee you asked for a Nescafe.
Happy days.

Has anyone found themselves have a really bad acid/heartburn reaction to a coffee when they've tried something new? Got some Monmouth Kiandu dark roast for filter and I've been in agony.

Filter coffee often does horrid things to me, especially if it is brewed for too long.

When seeking out instant coffee I reach straight for the Baldrick's special.

You are an odd girl.
On a different note, with some decent advise from mr slaine, I've just made the best coffee from my classic yet. A week off and a newly purchased coffee machine is making my beans disappear very quickly.

I've just had a sachet of coffee which looked a bit like one of those filter pod things.
The ingredients were: coffee, sugar, margarine, salt.
Tastes like... oil
yier Nescafe. -

any tips for making warm/hot milk which doesn't give you those flecks of skin when the milk is poured into the coffee. Using semi skimmed milk which I'm warming in a pan. Sometimes I get a few, sometimes I get alot.
Doesn't really affect the taste, just don't like stirring my coffee and milk together and then having to spoon out the small bits of skin that rise to the surface.. -

Pour it into the mug through a tea strainer?
