I can recommend Square Mile Luchadores espresso. It's a single estate Pacamara varietal from El Salvador. James gave me a bag the other week and it's got a really nice toffeeish base which turns kind of savoury on the finish. Nice and clean tasting and not too sharp.

I'm still having problems with my Krups filter machine...
There's just no depth to the flavour - it just tastes bitter and acrid. The first few times I used the machine, the brewing aroma was fantastic - now I'm barely getting anything.
I've cleaned it and regularly rinse it through with water, but there's still this foul flavour. It's actually putting me off coffee.
There are two speed settings - one for when you're only having a couple of cups, and the other for five or more. I've used a variety of grounds and filled the filter a whole range of different amounts.
I'm stuck! I just don't get it!

- Why don't the people at Too Much Coffee let me join? Have they witnessed post domination elsewhere perhaps? Scared of the convict posting onslaught? Brrk brrk!

Filter coffee is evil if made in an auto dripper thingy. You need a manual cup-top pour over cone thingy.
Google Pavoni spares. They're plentiful. Happy levering BTW.
There's no automated membership, I think you have to send mail and then they reply and then you introduce yourself in the members' area. It's all a bit more polite over there, so none of your urbane dry wit please.

I know this is heresy, but this morning I'll be walking over to Starfux and getting myself a Caramel Macchiato.
I just can't resist it.
I know I'm a bad person.
what's the syringe in the background for?
