No one else gets cake.
No one!

Wouldn’t they get mouldy then?
-
• #15104
Not if you're constantly using it, but yea if you leave it it will get mouldy.
Here's the faff explained by Hario:
It is really important to clean the cloth filter straight after it's been used. Rinse it under running water until the majority of the ground coffee is gone. Boil some water and soak the cloth twice for about 10 minutes each time. This should remove all the coffee oils and coffee fines from the cloth. Once the cloth filter is visibly clean, let it dry. If you use it frequently/daily, it’s better to leave it damp in the refrigerator inside a zip-lock bag.

Ta @Cazakstan for the Liverpool rec of Bold St Coffee; went at the weekend and it was excellent.

Thanks, what a bother.

You can keep them in the freezer too (in individual bags). They don’t take long to thaw, they’ll still be damp when you thaw them and it stops the mould.

Exactly. The Hario Woodneck is sitting gathering dust on a shelf in my kitchen for exactly that reason (beside my equally dusty Chemex).

Hi Vince
Would love to re-visit Steve, however I'm gonna be somewhere around Manchester along with the remnants of a tropical cyclone, for better or worse.
Wish me luck! And have a great ride plus a cake for me at Steve's place.

I know fresh coffee is always the best but I am sick of my colleauegs stealing my coffee and never pays for any fucking milk, so I have taken my coffee machine that I have paid for, home. I want to know if any flask you guys would recommend that could keep my coffee tastes relatively OK for a few hours as I am gonna just make my coffee before going to work and drink from my flask, the only way I won’t have to pay for everyone’s coffee.
PS. I have tried putting my coffee in my locked drawers etc but sometimes I forget and they just help themselves and sometime when I am making myself a cup, they would be like, oh could we have some? So flask is the only way to stop this from happening.
I might sound really mean but after almost a whole year of being relatively generous with buying and sharing, I am fed up of them keep promising they will buy some soon.

I've got the 200ml version of this after recommended on here, small so I can carry easy in bag on bike or run.
200ml showing as discontinued but 350ml option linked probably not massive.

Some people were banging on about Klean Kanteen. Though I’m not sure what size would fit in a bottle cage though.
-
• #15122
^their insulated "wide" range should all fit - they're same diameter just taller. About 3 inches across. Comes in 12, 16, 20oz varieties with their allegedly leak proof pouring/sipping lid.

Thanks for the recommendation, guys. Gonna get myself one now.
Did I also mention they also used my coffee glass (I don't like drinking from a mug or cup) to plant a flower when I went on holiday, they claimed that they didn't know that was my glass. I mean, it's a 5 people team and I am the only person who use a GLASS to drink coffee!

Buy two flasks. One for your delicious coffee that you can keep tucked away, one that has some highly concentrated urine labeled 'cold brew'.

The v2 no spill lids are far superior to the v1 ones which were worthless!
Lots of faff i'm a afraid.
You need to keep them 'moist' in a ziplock bag in the fridge when you're not using them, they're not suppose to dry out.
