I was thinking along the lines of storage, like so:
As far as I'm aware the Rhino has a larger diameter than the Porlex so won't fit.

I disagree that a blade grinder is good enough for moka; chunks of coffee beans and dust do not a tasty stove top cup make.

Like I said you have to get the shaking technique down, otherwise it won't work.

I stand by my statement.

Yeah... no. That won't work with the Rhino.

I use this method for filter when I’m being really lazy and cannot be fucked to grind 30g of coffee beans by hand. It works totally fine. Taste is still great and indistinguishable to my hand grinder.

This is perfectly fine, it would help to wiggle the toes a little though!

Anybody want these bits of Aeropress? The main parts are all a bit worn and the plastic has perished a little, but they're all heading for the recycle bin. Collection from SW15 or W2.

First YB order for the new house placed. @StevePeel haven't ordered in a few months - is it still cardboard boxes? (No worries if so, they stack beautifully - just want to know if I need to be in to receive them).

My last order was boxes.

Back where it began with my first Hasbean SO for years, plus Red Bank Brazil which i'm told is amazing, needs to rest more before I brew it as roasted 31/7

My 4 boxes came in a giant jiffy bag rather than the usual brown paper yesterday so may affect letterboxability.

I seem to remember when I got 4 or more boxes they came in a shoe box : )

Interested to know how you get on with the Red Bank, also heard good things.

Will let you know. They were cupping it and offered me a try but i'd just had an espresso & was due at work so didn't... now wish i'd tried it tho!

Is that Hario £20 job a good option if I want to try making cold brew? Wouldn't mind bringing in an insulated mug of it when it's hot here or having some to hand when I get home from work and don't even have the energy to use the Aeropress/the kitchen is too hot to stand around cranking the grinder.

If that's the tall bottle thing with the rubber lid I can vouch for it. Really easy to use. Just need to remember to do it as it's not a quick thing to brew. Makes a lovely drink at the end of it. I'd genuinely consider searching for a smaller one though or you'll find yourself chugging litres at a time before you know it - I had to hide mine!

The one mentioned further up this page (edit - now the last page), although I mostly see the larger size in the top middle for sale:

The bottle one actually looks nicer in terms of something sitting on a kitchen counter but might have to go for the smaller jug to control my intake. Does it need diluting a lot once it's finished? -

I like mine and just drank a cup of it in fact.
The included instructions call for 50g of coffee and it makes about two mugs so I don't dilute it. That's only a tiny bit more than normal (hot) coffee to water ratio. Haven't noticed any jitters and other signs of too much caffeine. but then I do drink a lot of coffee at the moment...
You could obviously use a more traditional (stronger) cold brew recipe but this works fine for me
The Rhino I got from @mustardbeak has an adaptor to fit an Aeropress
