It's like riding fixed in London. Although you have to ride on the wrong side of the road bein sur.

Ha I'm in Paris as are a few other peeps. Head over to pignonfixe.com if you speak frog.
Nice wide roads, bits are cobble ridden pot-holed nightmares though. When the going's good, it's really nice. The bike theft scene is, fortunately, pretty much non-existent.

Anyone willing to let me borrow or rent something like this for the weekend of Nov 5-7?? I am a small chica who rides fixed, but can't bring my bike on the plane. If anyone knows of something get at me! I would love to have someone to ride with this weekend.

I just got back from Paris and I couldn't go ten minutes without seeing a fixed gear. There's a bike store on nearly every street.
