I see the humour in everyone getting really offended on behalf of other people. Is it because, as white, heterosexual, middle class, urbanites, there's nothing much to be personally offended by in this world? Just sayin'.

Recognizing that, and being offended by, other people are being unjustly treated is perhaps one of the most important qualities in humanity (although recognizing pain in others is not unique to humans). To dismiss it as middle class nonsense is naive. Apartheid would have been pretty awesome if all those stupid white people would have just got on with their own business.

See, this is my point. I don't see the black community up in arms about homophobia, or sexism, or islamophobia, or any other ism or phobia. Except racism! People are naturally selfish, and only tend look out for themselves. Other races do NOT readily get offended on behalf of other people, it tends to be white people only. Wealthy, urban, liberal-minded white people (as I said previously). Poor white people couldn't give a fuck. That is why the blog is so funny.
