TobyOneKanobe Bods, be warned that after this program i think the fuzz are trying to back up their arguemnt as i got stopped this morning on a route i have been taking for over two years!!! A fncking power thirsty tosser of a copper (who was, without a word of a lie) the biggest COCK i have ever encountered!
The twat walked over to me and another fella on a bike, rubbing his hands (i kid you not) laughing 'that will thirty pounds then please...' and then when he saw me 'ahhh... another thirty pounds from you to then, get your wallets out then boys...'! (with a very smug face, the kind of face you just wanna TWAT as hard as you can!) We both looked at each other as he went into a rant..... i told him he was being far too aggressive towards us and pointed out that maybe he should politely educate instead of penalise cyclists... blah blah....
Anyway, we wriggled out of it but beware.... this was at the top end of Covent Garden and they were'nt wearing high-viz jackets either.... gggrrrrrr...rant rant..... good start to the day, cheers!
So what did they claim that you had done?

phil tommy,
hey thanks for making me aware of the copenhagen video. you are right about town planning / highways / urban morphology. thats the problem in britain.
i have been lobbying my council (tower hamlets) for safer streets (not very successfully). i will send them / make them aware of that video.
has ken livingstone / boris johnson seen it ?
if not i will send it them as well.
I doubt they have seen it, I have notyet had my monthy concoltation session with them yet:) I just saw the link on BF thought it was interesting. Of course obverse point that you can't do it all at once as people will never vote you in e.t.c. Still a good example to set to large urban areas.

RPM a fuck it, lets just dent the shit out of every "town style" 4x4 within the M25 and rape/murder the inhabitants.
I'm not fussy which order we proceed in.
ahh We'll work up a "Number 6" on 'em? ;) -

Well..... I don't know if you know Neal St in Covent Garden? It's a one way st of which i was cycling up the right way, at the end, it meets Monmouth St, it's literally 3 metres and then you hit Shafetebury avenue. I always use this road as I work just off tottenham court road and come over Waterloo Bridge, i have been told i cannot cycle over the three metres of tarmac, i must get off my bike, walk it, then i can get back on... fecking pathetic it really is... i am always careful when going through covent garden as there are lots of daft pedestrians thinking that they can meander around taking photos, pointing at things etc... all whilst being in the middle of the road, and then they have the balls to complain that there were cyclists on the road.... wtf??????
I think they are really going for it today... look who else has been caught ...

That's harsh -
So living in the sticks (Chester) has its advantages, coppers don't bat an eyelid at cyclists' transgressions here, yet I regularly see them ticketing motorists in bus lanes.... :-) -

Yeah i'm from Cambridge originally where everyone rides a bike, it used to be a nightmare to cycle around but it sgetter much much better. I know what you are saying about not being bothered by them, when the cops used to stop you for silly at least they were pleasant about it, in London, they are sooooo aggressive, its unnecessary and doesn't help the biker/copper relationship. It's all gone a little pear-shaped at the mo, everyone is soooo fnckin angry with eachother.

I've moved jobs now, but in my last place I used a fairly decent cycle lane next to a big A road for the majority of the commute BUT if you wanted to get on or off it other than at the start or end of it 2-3 mile apart you'd have to break the law or get off your bike and walk down footpaths.
Just doesn't feel like they really think much beyond the number of miles of cycle lanes created rather than how usable they are...

TobyOneKanobe, what did you say to wriggle out of your fine?
-

It was all a little bizzare actually, as there were two of us ranting back at him at the same time i think he just couldn't be arsed as he just turned round and walked away, didn't say you can go or you've been warned or anything, as you can imagine we didn't hesitate and fled! I turned to the other chap as we left, whilst rolling my eyes and shaking my head, happily said 'COCK'! (not at the cyclist, the rozza i mean!) :)

You need to make sure all parts are in the same folder then try and use winzip on any of them...#
if that doesn't work / you don't have winzip the 7-zip is good http://www.7-zip.org/ -
