  • RPM a fuck it, lets just dent the shit out of every "town style" 4x4 within the M25 and rape/murder the inhabitants.

I'm not fussy which order we proceed in.

    what a cunning plan!! :p

  • *"Crimes?"

    "Rape, murder, arson and rape."

    "You said 'rape' twice?"

    "I like rape."
    *

  • Ha I took the same photo!

  • "WARNING TO CYCLISTS
Tony Malone may give talks in the area on Cycling, fashion and the design of the bicycle.
Offensive - you will be charged a
    £30 FEE"

  • hehe

Where are those warnings signs for all the wankers in control(?) of cars then?

How about: "Warning! Cut hippy up again and he has the right to smash in your face with a d-lock."

  • ^^^ hear, hear. What fucking "community concerns"?

    Where are these signs?

  • covent garden.

  • covent garden is the place i always see them

funny story was in one of my lbs and talked to them, the program came up in conversation
turns out the owner of the shop has a friend whos fiance is the women in hampstead complaining about parking tickets

Really good video that. Interesting that no-one was wearing a helmet, though they did all seem to be going pretty slowly.

Also the roadie squeezing between the car and pedestrians at 7:40 is pretty funny.

  • he gives her a dress allowance and they are'nt even married. Those signs with "community concern" on them come out this community policing and focus group malarkey. They tend to be stuffed with people with nothing better to do hence the attention on wasting police time :-) Course we could all go along the next one and stress our concern at the amount of double parking outside schools, lack of indicator use by school run people illegal use of hazard lights etc etc maybe we could get something likes this

  • £30????

the punishment should have their vehicle scrapped and the metal made into bikes!

  • What a joke... They're only doing it to please those who have 'connections' or money, which unsurprisingly are the ones who are either driven everywhere or drive a 4x4. grr

  • so this would be a bad place to talk about the hummer i just purchased for drivieng the 7 min bike ride to the store and back?

  • My girlfriend moans that I spent all this money on what I call a "Classic Car" yet refuse to drive it. I really cannot see the point of driving anywhere less than 5-6 miles. Even doing the weekly shop involves me cycling to the market and using my Kremlin to cart everything home. I think modern society is simply lazy. We want everything to be easy and cheap (can you tell I have just been watching Hugh Fernly -wittingstall's chicken program!)

  • Yep, modern society is lazy. And the fact that if you've got money, you can be even more lazy by driving about instead. Cycling cures so many problems - obesity, traffic congestion, pollution...

Ergh, the chicken industry is awful (my uncle works in it). I'm very glad to be vegetarian.

  • vegansdontneedgears so this would be a bad place to talk about the hummer i just purchased for drivieng the 7 min bike ride to the store and back?

No dude, you live in America - it's a fucking jungle out there... :p

  • tommy,

hey thanks for making me aware of the copenhagen video. you are right about town planning / highways / urban morphology. thats the problem in britain.

i have been lobbying my council (tower hamlets) for safer streets (not very successfully). i will send them / make them aware of that video.

has ken livingstone / boris johnson seen it ?

if not i will send it them as well.

  • Bods, be warned that after this program i think the fuzz are trying to back up their arguemnt as i got stopped this morning on a route i have been taking for over two years!!! A fncking power thirsty tosser of a copper (who was, without a word of a lie) the biggest COCK i have ever encountered!

The twat walked over to me and another fella on a bike, rubbing his hands (i kid you not) laughing 'that will thirty pounds then please...' and then when he saw me 'ahhh... another thirty pounds from you to then, get your wallets out then boys...'! (with a very smug face, the kind of face you just wanna TWAT as hard as you can!) We both looked at each other as he went into a rant..... i told him he was being far too aggressive towards us and pointed out that maybe he should politely educate instead of penalise cyclists... blah blah....

Anyway, we wriggled out of it but beware.... this was at the top end of Covent Garden and they were'nt wearing high-viz jackets either.... gggrrrrrr...rant rant..... good start to the day, cheers!

  • just watched it, that guy getting knicked at the verry begening "no cuffs mate" is a messenger, i helped pull him off a taxi driver in old st some time in augest

  • I know it's a bit self-important, but I like to think I have an understanding of the danger of cars that a lot of non-cyclists don't. I see them as things that can kill people, whereas I suppose a lot of drivers see them as toys for getting their fat arses down the road in.
So now the powers that be seem to be encouraging this negligence! If you don't have a clue what i'm on about read this:

As if the cunts don't get away with murder already!
