it was a thing of beauty !

• scott not scot
chris crash and the weedy fucker who just started drinking again.... whasisname? chris somethink

I'm confused....am i leading a secret double life that is so secret even I don't know about?...
I'M a weedy fucker who just started drinking again...AND....i too have a bike that is browner than a turd!

Chris not Scott???
you have double but its not who you think it is.

• Great night from the screaming theatre bitch to the deer to the lovely downhill (no not the blind slippery one in the park ;) ) in south london.
Fantastic night out guys.

Great to meet you all and put names to real names to faces to bikes.

See you at the next one.

• Thanks to all the peeps that made it out and shame to all of you who didn't (you missed out!). Definitely one of more quicker rides, probably due to the cooler weather. but awesome fun

highlights
-screaming theatre biatch
-starting with 25+ people
-no crashes
-no punctures
-hippy in full lycra, freezing his nads off!
-DDM with a cravat, reading to go quail shooting
-richmond park getting inside
-richmond park deer running beside us
-descending the steep and slippery hill in RP full tilt
-riding along the A3 taking up a lane
-watchin hippo overtake the whole pack going down wimbledon hill
-bombin hill down to river
-finishing in one peace

overall awesome few hours, seeing places of london i've never been!

My idea for next ride is "secret/hidden london"

• yeah great ride guys. really good to see so many new faces/bikes out there too.

totally agree that the dark lap of RP was the highlight and should become the signature for any night rides even remotely out west. think drinking (and dancing) at ULU bar til four should be mandatory too ;) hope you matt's both got home safe and sound.

nice one dogs for getting this together - and to everyone else for hitting the pedals out there

• Thanks to all of you, that was the best saturday night I could imagine. Big ups to Dale even he didn't actually know his Offical Route very well. As a newby I have to say you all were welcoming and friendly, great to meet the real people behind the nicknames, though I'm fucked if I can remember who has what nickname NOW. Except Phil!

+1 to pretty much all of what you all just said!^ the bit when everyone shut up and just rode peloton style was flippin mmmmarvellous, a real eye opener as to what I OUGHT to have been doing since I were a lad but i was too busy spunking my cash on skunk. Seriously I could beat any addiction (except self abuse, obviously) with regular night rides like that to look forward to! Help me by getting the next one going soon, really soon or I will probably kill a puppy or something.

Secret Hidden London, let's get our thinkin caps on...

Thanks again guys and girl.
Skully/Ben=Claud Butler with the stupid ratio

• Been meanign to post ever since getting up yesterday but Tori's been hogging the 'puter.

Absolutely brillaint ride - they just keep getting better and better.

Not sure I can add anything to what has been said above, except maybe a quick shout out for team CONdor -first round the park and first over the finish line ;-) Obviosuly, if Jonny hadn't taken two wrong turns in the park then things might have been different!

So much fun on so many different parts of the ride, plus the deer leaping across us counts as one oof the most magical moments I can remember.

And, a word to the wise and single: dress up fakenger style and go to a student night. Sitting in the corner and minding our own business seemed to work wonders with the ladies; Jonny was fighting them off. What about that Beth outside the Union eh DDM? It seemd such a shame when that guy practically dragged her away...

Oh, and great to see so many new faces, if it was your first ride with us, I have a feeling that you'll be back for more. But, expect more punctures in the furure!

No one else was racing though!

• it's always a race tommy - and mashton was picking up all the jerseys that night - and lucky to hang on to his for all the girls after him at the bar later ;)

• Manage to cop a feel in the dark anyone!?!
Ha.

• new idea is monopoly ride for next one!!

• I'll be the car!

Doh.

• "Sitting in the corner and minding our own business seemed to work wonders with the ladies; Jonny was fighting them off."

That's just coz jonny was there.. nothing to do with what you were wearing.

It must have been a race around RP coz I came in last :)

Just so anyone who didn't ride knows it was full AUSTRALIA TEAM KIT lycra.. I don't usually do these rides with my bollocks out.. :)

• jonny it's always a race tommy - and mashton was picking up all the jerseys that night

Allez mashton!

Le Maillot Rapha!

• Did anybody get photos on the night ?

• yeah i took a photo at the top of rp - just after the deer incident.

i will try and post it on wednesday.

• kowalski
jonny it's always a race tommy - and mashton was picking up all the jerseys that night

Ha - i actually picked up my first bit of rapha kit yesterday. Cunty i am, oh yes.

Mouse is all over the Assos kit now. He's my hero :-)

• Despite my sprinter build, I'm defo the domestique with Team LFGSS/CONdor.

Assos is not sprinter-friendly.

• Managed 2 pics before the camera died. Will post asap.
