Looks easy

Gorrick two hour today. Early start to the day and worked hard on the first lap to get in a pace for four laps - rewarded with an epic over the bars after a bump jump went very wrong.

bike was mostly ok so carried on but the stuffing was knocked out. Finished well down with three laps.

Weather went to shit too resulting in a very slippery course. Glad I wasn't in for the four hour.

Epping today fun but very sludgy. Even on 3" tyres I did a reasonable amount of going sideways.
Mud kept clogging my chainring and making my chain want to drop which was annoying.
Will be going regularly, let me know if u wanna come with.

As a really old codger I only do 3hrs. No smashing today - big boys came out to play post xmas.

My drive train sounds horrific in bad mud.

Destroyed an 11s chain and most of an XTR cassette - probably worth the 4s I beat next place by. Carbon stiffness and 2lb got to be worth 4s over 3hrs compared to steel mud bike.

That deadly sand / rain / mud combination. Sandpaper paste.
