  • i could be keen, will text the banned one, can you get to swinley?

closest station is St Martins Heron.

  • Thanks Ed. I'm banned one's new PA - ping me if you need deets.

  • closest station is St Martins Heron.

No canonisation for the Heron owner.

closest station is St Martins Heron.

    Possibly, looking into trains.

I'm in finsbury park if anyone knows how to get there from here?

  • my wife just said the same thing.....

    Katie?

  • convince Gabes to come in his motorcar and give you a lift?

  • I don't think I know gabes, not sure I'm your wife either.

My name isn't katie for starters.

  • the banned one is up for it (sorry if that puts anyone off) so meet at swinley at 10.15 is my suggestion...

james is reasonably competent has all the gear and fit, i'm determined but not very good at all, anyone else is welcome.

  • I'm neither fit nor competent.

I'll find a way of gettin there. Is it easy to find from the station.

  • finsbury park to kings cross --> ride to waterloo --> waterloo to martins heron

  • another possibility:
finsbury park to highbury&islington --> highbury&islington to richmond (North London Line)--> richmond to martins heron

Probably takes longer, but avoids the crowds.

  • I'm between finsbury and highbury so will prob go with that I think. That and bikes not really geared for road

Hopefully see you all on sat!

  • I will hopefully be joining Cake on Nhatt's Rock Lobster which is too big for me. Fun times. We may drive.

I like this idea, but will we fit both bikes?

  • I'm in for Sat am - will bring some non-lfgssers too.

James - is Brent planning on doing skills this Sat?

  • I'm in for Saturday. Happy to meet people on the train/at Martins Heron for group navigation to the Lookout.

  • I like this idea, but will we fit both bikes?

Yes, but need to find some tarp so the boot doesn't get full of mud. Although taking disc wheels off bikes is long ting.

  • Just put them on the leather back seats.

    Wipe clean innit...

  • Foolproof idea. I definitely can't see how this could go wrong. Whatsoever.

  • Although taking disc wheels off bikes is long ting.

Are you sure you're doing it right?

  • I don't do it. I just watch Cake struggle.

  • New seatpost!

  • Excellent, allows the bike to be quickly adapted for a normal person :-)

  • Taking the 8.20 from waterloo to Martin's Heron Saturday - happy to do training or just riding the usual loop, will wing it on the day.
