What day this weekend?
I would be up for some muddy pootling after lunch on Sunday.I'm also thinking of revisiting some of the MOD areas around Deepcut. I've got a GPS log of the last race there and some vague memories of where the course went. Could make for an interesting change from Swinley.

If I'm doing any MTBing, I think it'll be Sunday. I'm meant to be going on a leisure ride to somewhere out East (Southend/Cambridge/etc) tomorrow.

Evening folks,
just for the record, Swinley is stupid fast at the moment. I've been going there ages and I have never been as quick as I was today on my 29er. I'd highly recommend a trip out there tomorrow if you need to get out for a ride...

tom and i found we were quite nippy last week
thought it was because we were on good form, had not thought it would be down to the conditions, but it explains a lot

Just got in an I'm well knackered after a day of sliding off sandstone! Should be up for a ride in the morning though. Anyone for the 10:43 arrival at Martin's Heron?
-
• #2766
can we go for the 11.13 am arrival?
-
• #2767
Sounds good to me.
PS: Lazy bugger.

• #2768
what train do you guys normally return on?
-
• #2769
depends how we get on, of late mechanicals have finished our days!
we use Martins Heron, trains are every 30 minutes so try to aim for a brief wait (or go to tescos round the corner for food)
the train maintenance is a pain, as i have to go to barnes instead of richmond to catch the direct train

^ Mine? I wish :)
Not quite North East, but there is a place in the railway arches opposite the Hawley Arms in Camden that might be OK. I've chatted to one of the guys there (who is some downhill type and seems fairly knowledgeable), although I've not taken a bike there yet.
