All that and it isn't even integrated into the lever

I saw that this morning before a ride where I more than once had to think ‘am I pressing dropper, lock out or shifter’, usually at a time when I couldn’t look to check. How the heck would this help?!

It took me a while to be convinced that it wasn’t a joke, and even now I’m not 100%

Jeez inserts aren’t cheap! I’m off to use my local mechanics compressor to get the tyre back on this morning so I’ll ask him to sort it.
Out of interest what compressor/ air shot thing do people like these days? I need some sort of home solution

OG airshot had no problem with any tyre for me, including 29 plus.

• #23120
I watched a couple of YouTube videos of people fitting inserts and decided to involve my local bike shop in all future tyre changes, which has worked very well for me.

I have a booster pump which I tend to use. But I also have a proper air compressor for chainsaw cleaning/nail gun duties but have never had to resort to that.
Which inserts are best for general trail riding/basic downhill etc? I am in the middle ground of not being an xc whippet or an enduro/massive sick air rider.

Cheaper than an rim and re-lacing though. I've got an Airshot, and a Ryobi hand held electric pump that normally does the trick, also cost about a third of the cost of my track pump and goes up to 150 psi.

With stans rims, I just use a normal track pump. Up they go.

Same here on my gravel bike, Bfe Max and Capra have only ever used my track pump with the valve core removed to seat tyres/set up tubeless.
As for inserts, I bought a pair of Rimpact Pro in mullet configuration as I only use them in the rear on the Cotic (29er) and YT (27.5)
May have had my back tyre too soft today. Was enjoying the extra grip and cushioning until this happened. Luckily only 2 mins from home
