Furious. Embarrasing for me as it is - you are quite a lot taler than me...
Having said that I can't buy anything until tomorrow so buying Pogues tickets online isn't a possibility so will be up the hill. Let me know.

That is very true Little John but I like my MTB's nice and throwable. I've got a 2004 Cove Stiffee 17.5" that has seen no use since 2006.
It looks like this:

^ V.nice.
Will have to have a look and a ride, although I was thinking more 16"/16.5".
Speak to you later.

I've got a 2006 Commencal Absolut for sale. 14", single speed (but has a mech hanger), steel, front suspension. Only used for polo. Cheap.

Shit you really are stumpy arn't you. Sorry I didn't make it up the hill last night.
The bike hasn't moved in 3-4 years so I'm sure it'll still be fine until the next time I see you.

oh teddy!
-
• #1989
No it's a bike, a teddy would be a little disappointing.

• #1990
I am sure Teddy would be disappointed, he has always had a crush on you.

Last night I took the ss 29er along the Thames path. It was one of the most exhausting things I have done on a bike in months. Not from a cardio or leg perspective, as I could only do about 8-10 miles an hour. Any faster and the tyres were just skimming across the slush and not biting in at all. Even the mildest incline caused wheelspin to occur.
The hard part of it was the core body work out. After 10 minutes my back just ached, from constantly working, twitching and readjusting my weight to stop the bike from sliding out from under me. The path was just ice and slush, I am used to encountering the odd slippery bit of mud on trails but last night was a few miles of uncertainty. Strangely I find this great fun

Anyone up for some night excursions?
Have just ordered an exposure maxx d so feel the need to put it to use.
-
• #1993
I'm keen but out-of-action for probably another couple weeks at a guess.

• #1994
Shoulder or just lazy foreign?
-
• #1995
Shoulder with a side of lazy foreign and a dash of Ginger.
-
• #1996
Kill yourself now!
-
• #1997
Or fix the shoulder, get naturalised and dye the hair.
-
• #1998
Nothing to do for the shoulder except rest it seems. The rest is too far gone I fear.

I've order a brace of £1.50 specials off of Ebay, so when they arrive I may well be up for some night ridings. Probably won't be for a few weeks though.
I think that Wimbledon Common could be good, as it's a bit busy to ride the good stuff during the day (not to mention the fact that it's no cycling).
I don't suppose either of you (Mincing James/Harmed) fancy having a pop at SSWC2011? I'm going to register today. It's 60E, and in Ireland.

Wimbledon Common's nice but a bit small ultimately, the no cycling aspect is a bit confusing at time when you end up accidentally cycling on the no-cycling part.
