The mental leaps required to successfully bleed a brake are something else, too.

Some definite dangerous virgin wheels there.
-
• #13835
Actually I'm now understanding the term "dangerous virgin", it is a person that was born a virgin, but through their own recklessness has produced a child, and then jizzed their cash on some bling wheels.

I thought they meant those incel guys

Got a couple of rides in on my Stanton over the weekend. Local spin on Saturday and a couple of laps of Bracknell's premier MTB spot yesterday. I absolutely bloody love this bike.

3.0 tyres? Dreamy aren’t they! How you finding those?
-
• #13840
I can't get enough of them. I also have a 29er wheelset with some 2.25" tyres but these seem to roll 99% as fast but are just so much more forgiving and above all, fun. The bike is good with the 29er wheels and exceptional in this plus tyre guise.

does any one have a Shimano XTR M970 left hand crank removal tool I could borrow before I buy one?

Going to head down to the Olympic park tomorrow, will be there at 4:30 if anyone is at a loose end.

Are they standard hope rims? Would've thought 3.0 would be too wide.
Look great though.

Hope Tech 35W wheels. 35mm internal. Seems a perfect combo with 3.0" tyres. No squirm at all even at very low pressures. And they feel light and lively too.
-

Nice. I have a set of the Enduros. Only 23mm internal. 2.4 seems to be about the max.

If anyone is in any doubt over whether to go to Finale Ligure, just do it. Managed about 4400 m of climbing and 7250 m of descent over five days, and it was all gloriously steep, techy, rocky, hero-dirt goodness, with amazing views everywhere.
Plus the food is incredible and the vino sfusi is 3-6 eur/L.
Kinda spoilt me for anything else now, but my arms will be glad of the respite...
Forum trip...?

Can thoroughly recommend Francesco Gozio of Ride Over Yonder for guiding purposes.
