Sweet. There’s a bar stem combo of the above on eBay in perfect condition for 30 something so may go for those to save a couple £. Bars are cut to 700mm. That enough?
I’ve only got a 70mm stem and those alpkit loop bars in the spares so need a better cockpit

700 may feel a bit weird if it's paired with a very short stem. I'm fine with 680 on my Explosif, but that's paired with a 90mm. You can get used to anything, tbh, but when you can get a perfectly good Brand X bar and stem combo for under £30 I wouldn't bother with eBay stuff that wasn't even that pricey to begin with.

As in too narrow? I do want a short stem. I went longer on the top tube to run a stubby

Yeah. I mean, it's fine, but better to start at 750+ and cut it down if you don't like it rather than going in with a fairly atypical setup.

I keep meaning to cut my bars down a bit from 800mm. Still haven't got round to it after 4 years.

Where were you? Looks like round me a bit but not quite right hill shapes!

Headset, seat post clamp, pedals, bar, grips and stem all on the way now so I’m only cables, chain and cassette short I think.
And either some tubeless gubbins or a couple of tubes

Or just get some busted tubes and cut the valve stems from them

get a sunrace cassette. the black ones look cool
get decent cables as they get thrashed with MTB. jagwire whatevers.
