• Be warned: Sundays can be fast and brutal.

unless Spring Break are in attendance...

  • Ah, well lots of "A Cats" have visited and played at Beginners, so I don't think it's seen as exclusive... obviously people don't cruise around knocking the new comers off their bikes when visiting.

unless Spring Break are in attendance...

This is true, currently we have the nicknames: Bum, Thumb and Done and are far from on form.

  • Well I think the b cats want the same, it's not that there's anyone we don't want down (except slain obv), we just don't want to have the good players whipping us.

  • So your saying the good players are welcome, but they have to ride around slightly slower winging about not having enough time on the ball and that their shot was "on" yesterday?

As long as everyone's allowed, I'm cool with it, just set a tone for an evening rather than try to exclude people... also: we should bring drills nights back.

  • ha!
anyway didnt badger progress to playing beginners to spring break in 6 months because he went and played regular throwins?
If we are talking about improvement then surely its more about how you approach each game of polo you play (throwin or tourney game), what you want out of it, whether you are willing to practice and how committed you are than whether you play with 'B-cats' to 'get more time on the ball' EDIT: Jono just said that but in a funnier, more ironic way

  • Playing polo > Talking about polo

I can't be arsed to play tonight, too cold for these old bones...

  • load of shit!
talking about polo > playing polo

  • I'll see if any of the other b cats want to disagree with me, but that is what i am saying. :-)

I'd be totally up for more drill nights, just takes someone to strp up and lead... It was never that there weren't enough people...

  • Yeah, or tonight

  • Badger progressed in six months the same way emmet, Ben and plenty of other's have, by playing every day, every where. North south west beginners weekends tourneyments, solo, dou, quadro...

  • exactly....
if you dont want the good players to whoop you, then get better

  • so........ monday night polo?

How many? Who's up for it?

  • Sound advice would be: play often, play hard, listen to the advice of others, be one with your bike, eat spinach.

  • In for tonight... When ever I finish work :-/

  • Sound advice would be: play often, play hard, listen to the advice of others, be one with your bike, eat spinach.

leave it for the blog yeah

  • can't do tonight, no bike

  • Just putting it out there, we can't all have one-on-one training Ben...

  • Actually Jon, you could (if I can get enough time to do more drop-in sessions).

  • Awesome!

  • This (not too sure about the spinach part though):

Sound advice would be: play often, play hard, listen to the advice of others, be one with your bike, eat spinach.

  • Leaving nowish, be there in 30.

  • Ditto, only now, not when that was posted!

  • Tomorrow it is then.

  • i think ...
    nah fuck it.

  • Someone left a pair of Oakley gloves tonight, they are with me.
