You want beers for face cage?
Delicious beer. It's atop my cupboard, located far far away from where I currently am. If Joe feels up to clambering up there to retrieve, perhaps you can give him beer? (Joe it's the softball cage, prob in the bike bits box, not the bauer cage, unless Joni wants that too?).
Otherwise it may have to wait til next week, I'm afraid...

Yep it was good fun, I'm a bit wrecked today though, a good four hours of nearly non-stop play, plus some new scrapes + scratches.
dt I look forward to getting my new disc guard off you next week.

I hope you guys don't mind yomoyo vs sirens on Monday? There will probably be the second court anyway, but I like to ask in case anyone has any vehement protests? :)

I guess it's tricky with the lack of courts with lights now.
I don't want to whinge but this is potentially the 4th time in 2 weeks league games have interrupted throw ins that I know of.Is the league still standing by the rule that it shouldn't interfere with throw ins, or should we suck it up because there aren't enough courts and this season we have 2 extra sessions at Newt?
And Re: the 2 court thing, we used to say that we should be mindful of the locals and not hog both courts.
Asking a family having a kick around when they're going to finish because we want both courts for polo is a bit off IMO.I just see this happening with regularity now on Mondays and Thursdays, and from my point of view, I'd rather do B cats and ladies polo than watch league games.
Just my opinion, I'm probably in the minority because I'm not in the league.

Throw-ins, no team shit... **League games and drill night take precedence...
**
Everyone welcome, games will be mid-paced to encourage beginners and intermediate players to progress to the next level with their game...Not limited to Southies, obviously... Let's play some fucking polo FFS...

So we're saying league games should not interfere with throw ins as long as they're established throw in nights i.e not B Cat and Ladies polo?

Are you talking about me on Monday night? I went up to him and said "How's it going? Absolutely no pressure at all mate, honestly. we were just wondering how long more you were staying. If you want to stay an hour or two its perfectly fine! We are just working out a schedule of our games for the rest of the evening whether we have one or two courts. If you are staying a while its ok, really".
And he said "No problem at all pal, I wanted to finish up anyway, its the kids that are keeping me here! But we are heading off in a minute, its getting late, they'll be tired. Thank you for asking."I didnt order him off the court or the like. I was friendly and open with him, and made sure from the start that he was under no pressure to leave. He responded in kind, there was zero bad blood. If he'd said "we'll probably be here for another hour" then I would have said that's fine, no problem, thanks for letting us know, we appreciate it. Same with the rollerblader who I talked to about half an hour beforehand.

I'm not saying anything, mainly because I'm tired of sticking my neck above the parapet and getting it shot off...
It was originally mentioned that league and drills would take precedence over intermediates... There is no B-cat, remember?
