That's a demi-alcoholic
Is that an alcoholic demi-god?

^ Hmmm, it isn't easy when the nation's drug of choice is legal and so entwined with our social/family/religious/work lives.
So prohibition's the answer?
-
• #289

Here's how I fared with 2013's resolutions:
In 2013 I will:
- wear more appropriate footwear
I can't remember why I wrote this and whether I'd been wearing any massively inappropriate footwear at the end of december, but as I can't say I've upped my game in the footwear stakes I'm going to have to say that I failed here. - practice my violin
Epic fail, haven't been able to play properly since June when I tore ligaments in my hand. - ride more, including on the track
I went to track twice in the entire year but I did ride lots other than that.
In 2013 I am giving up:
- booze, for January at least
Turns out I accidentally gave up booze permanently - sex
Epic fail.
Add to this my usual resolutions of painting my nails more often and making an effort to be on time for work, and I think that's enough to be getting on with.
- wear more appropriate footwear

2014 aims:
1) photography 52, no common theme, just a pic a week.
2) ride the MTB more
3) drop 3 stone
4) start running
5) work harder -

My resolution was a triple century, or failing that to be more like hippy.
I have successfully got fatter.
I can stop drinking whenever I want, but luckily in the UK I never have to.
