In the small print:
A brand of the Witcomb Trading Company Ltd.
The only thing Witcomb's traded is his self-respect and dignity for Dafoney's promise of riches.

rebadged 3t anatomic bars
-
• #280
nah - tony didn't rebadge…
young tony hasn't run his company name 'morpheus advanced bicycles' through trademarks and copyrights -
morpheus is an existing name used by a company operating in the same sector - not very clever when bicycling components are part of your offering

I don't understand, so those bars are badged by the real Morpheus?
the font and colours look the same
-
• #282
It was a product range by 3T IIRC. Don't think they still make them though, might be wrong.

what! - you mean that dafony would take an existing name and marque and pass it off as his own work -
how dare you sir, that would be the work of a cad and a bounder, the type of chap that would use mercians barber pole signature paint style on his own bike 'designs'…
ohhhh…
-
• #284
morpheus bikes better be able to give you the abilty to dodge bullets and fly, and give you a choice of two pills.

close up, the font isn't the same. the one on the bars is an actual design.
it's a good job nobody's told the real morpheus about this

now I see it's a 3tt bar that's called morpheus.
not sure how that works...
Halfords successfuly forced Banshee bikes to change their name in the UK just because halfords had one own brand bike called a carrerra banshee...
copyright is like women:
size matters, and who was there first.

So, I have 3ttt's email address.

Date: Mon, 11 Feb 2008 15:33:08 +0100Thanks Jonathan for pointing us to these sites. In march 2007 the 3T brand name changed ownership, and the issues you refer to relate to the previous owner. But I am sure we as the New 3T will face similar issues, so appreciate if you let us know when you see anything more!
Rgds,

Riding a bicycle without brakes sounds like a rash move, but a wave of cyclists are eschewing traditional bikes for a stripped-down machine known as a fixed-gear.
She's got her finger on the pulse has Alice Fisher.
-
• #298
Ah. I see there is a thread for this already:

Isn't it charming how Tony Malone is listed as a notable resident of [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deptford]Deptford[/ame] alongside others such other luminaries as Danny Baker and Vic Reeves...
it is appallingly ugly for someone who's supposed to be a "designer"
