My German is rusty, one mistake in every word! :(

Not in the last one--I only corrected that because I would expect you to address me using the familiar form, not the polite form (of course it's a fairly moot point as we know one another in English).

As I was typing my pitiful German,
something in the back of my mind told me 'dich',
but a serious 'voice' said ignore that it's a song lyric!

Well, it's just a perfectly ordinary pronoun, so it necessarily occurs in a lot of contexts.

Yeah, but it was the shape of the sentence,
as soon as I thought 'Kein ....' my memory autocompleted the '..... fur dich',
even though there is no correspondance between success/damsons / Zuruck/Zwetschgen.
