rock paper scissors.
@ Ed.
Nothing worse, than someone who doesn't make a regular appearance chiming in with make your fucking minds up comments. Now you may be a regular west's member, but having been done the last couple of months, your non appearance hasn't been noted. So then, become regular raise voice in the decision about where drinks should be located.
I'm a regular south members, I rarely been to West, it's very odd to see the West changing pubs regularly like socks.

Souths is at a small pub with stinking loos on a very busy main road right next to Brixton and the burgers are going down hill. BUT it still has a good turn out!
Geography's not your strong point then...
Don't know about the burgers going down hill, they were pretty good last week...for £4
We stick with our pub, we spend good money there, the landlord and staff like us...it's not complicated.
I used to like popping over to Wests from work, especially in the summer. A group of us used to do that and have a blast riding back through Battersea Park. These days I think about it, check this thread and see bitching and really can't be arsed to fucking work out where you lot go these days...I know I'm not the only one.
I'm glad I saw Murts at the weekend...

Stop quoting Scoble please.
(Since when is a he a south's regular?)

The bitching was caused by a rush of blood to the head and not by a liberal-voting cunt. This has now been dealt with. However, the issue "where to" etc is probably one that will be decided after this evening.
Probably out tonight - too much bitching and the food is so expensive.

@ Rowhan, your descriptions of the pubs for each drinks is biased,at best, spoken like a cunt at worst. Each of the drinks has it's own flavour and their own cyclical attendance, if you want to spread yourself across all of them as you have been doing of late, fair do's but best to just settle into a couple and enjoy them, without slagging off the rest for your own personal preference.
Beers aren't a fucking beauty contest, there is no winner, no cup given at the end. Just a place for us to hang out and drink beer, and see other like minded cyclists and speak to them.
As mentioned previously not in tonight, but probably will be next week, wherever the venue is..
Geography's not your strong point then...

Talk about COMPLETELY missing the sodding point.
What I thought Id done pretty clearly was list some pros and cons of each 'beers'.... The ultimate point being, there IS no perfect location, pub, food, barmaid, beer selection - however ALL the other pubs have been fixed for ages because they all seem to keep everyone fairly content.
Despite any downsides Souths or Southeasts have, I'm not complaining: 'just saying'. And yes, I do go to 2 of the three beers mentioned because I enjoy the pubs and atmosphere of each, equally and for different reasons.
Theres no bias against east or north other than the distance- im not going on a 44km roundtrip for 3 or 4 beers. Simple. In other news: Souths is equidistant from clapham and brixton. Also don't call me a cunt for having a reasonable opinion/view on the state of things.
