that's quite hard considering that carbon is actually the 6th most abundant elements on the planet...

anyone here got experience with aerospoke back wheels (if its even possible?)? a friend of mine's ranting about pimping his condor fixie which has been out of commission for a while due to a nasty accident with a trailer clamp slipping into the back wheels and ripping out 3 spokes on cycling trip in france...

Yeah you can buy back wheels with a track hub, but they're even more expensive (than front wheels,obviously). Someone told me the cog is pretty much just glued on as well, dunno if that's true though. If he gets one, tell him to not leave it near trailer clamps again.

oh i dont think he's gonna do that anytime soon! was pretty pissed when his back wheel fucked up, whats the price range on aerospokes anyways?

the cog is not glued on. dexterflexter has a 21t phil cog on his one it's standard stepped thread with lockring.

A friend of mine was there when it happened. Idiot in massive pickup truck (this took place in San Jose, California, so we're talking super-big truck), doesn't bother looking when parking and rolls straight over bike that's on kerb.

The 650C Spinergy I got looks like it was never used.
Brake surface sweet, no crap in the carbon, even the stickers are near perfect.. I'm gonna hang it on my wall!

trust me i suggested he fix it, but i think he's taken it as an excuse to spend some money on his bike... fair enough i say, but i doubt he's got 300 quid to spend on a wheel!
