Illy, did you manage to get a snap of Geert-Jan Jonkman's rims?
They were gorgeous.

She came forth.

Nope, but they were these I think!

Cheers Illy. They were very pretty and would really be set off nicely on a fluro pink bike.
But Winston says they are not good for acceleration
http://www.londonfgss.com/post183689-6.html
and that was certainly true in Jonkman's case. Perhaps I need more acceleration...
...or then again, I am probably better focusing on aesthetics.

they are not very stiff, and I'm guessing Jonkman weighs significantly less than any of the Englishmen involved in this discussion...

You know, you can take one post at a time. There are a few long ones, but only 9,000-odd altogether. :)

Makes me want to do cross next year...

You should Matt. It's good fun (if a bit muddy).

Yeah I think a nice 80s frame, like a Vitus with a nice set of tubular wheels and a medium quality groupset would be a very nice cross bike for next year. oooh so tempting.

whooo-hooo! Clive, you might have to buy those just to save M from himself.
On second thoughts...he has enough wheels...me less so...maybe there'll be a shamal or two under the tree this year ;)
