German Sixes are something else altogether. I accidentally wondered into the below track strip club at the Stuttgart Six a few years ago. My other abiding memory from that one were the vast array of mullets on display.

I went to the Berlin one last year. It is quite a lot bigger than Gent, and also more expensive. Atmosphere is similar (maybe not quite as mental), and there is more variation in the events. They break the evenings up with riders who aren't in the six day doing individual and team sprints (with legs which make hippy's look like twigs), and they also have those weird dernys with the bar out the back and the bikes with the small front wheels and backwards forks.
I'd recommend it!

Naughty Iljo Keisse.
I didn't know trackies did drugs. He must've been hanging out with one of those dirty roadies like Tom Boonen.

Btw, is anyone off to Gent for the 6 this year?

Wo. Not good.

he was involved in the crash with Galvez
-
• #243
That's very sad news. I read somewhere else that he'd been deeply affected by the Galvez crash. That must be a terrible burden to live with.
