• this is why i'm a crzy scientist

    love the knitwear jw ;)

  • mashton
jonny
mashton
lucky7 Mashton that was Matt, but he is yet a member of the forum.
    He is a lurker! lol

Ummm, thanks for that, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't called Matt. That's probably the only name I'd remember (same as mine!). He is in the photo above, on the right hand side, next to Doca, wearing a white Rapha cycling cap...
hey mashton, lucky7 is right, that is matthew, he did the catford hill climb and richmond park runs with us recently. that sip of rose must have gone to your head if you can't remember someone who shares your name. lol
Dammit, I'm a fuckwit! Well, I won't forget it now.

And Matthew, if you're lurking on this thread - I'm sorry for my shite memory, it was great chatting with you.
Hi. Yeah, that's me. And I signed up now.

See you on the ride to Brighton.

  • pics starting to go up now...

    http://www.asm.dreamhosters.com/gallery/v/hal07/

first lot are from sam, mine coming in a bit when i've finished converting the decent ones to jpg format. will notify again about that (maybe in the morning). and i'll be seeing you on the brighton trip too, well done for joining illy (i think you need to post in the "explain your username" thread now!)

  • ok, have now uploaded all the pics that i have. some of them are pretty similar to each other, but hope you all enjoy.

nb, apologies for them being out of order! the ones that read "pictureX.jpg" are really from the beginning (brompton) where we were all meeting up. and sorry to those of you whose names i don't remember - was brilliant to see so many people out!

EDIT: grrr. trying to get the image to show.

  • fark they are slow to load nice pics though, still halfway!

  • wow - you are quick! they're not too slow for me, so not sure what the problem is there.... they [pi]are BIG tho, although you can do view them in different sizes... ahh, just realised, are you using the slideshow or something? i haven't really used this software much before (but prefer my own hosting to flickr etc).

  • oh, just figured out how to reorder them, too so that will take me a little while longer... all good distraction techniques from work!

  • was going one by one, but too slow :(

  • this is pretty

  • also like this for some reason, even though blurry, out of focus, on an angle

  • dogsballs also like this for some reason, even though blurry, out of focus, on an angle

yeah, i really liked that one too. sorry they're so slow for you, i don't know what that's about (to relate to another thread, they're hosted on dreamhost - obiously!)

  • i'm on university superfast connection, so go figure!

  • yeah - i figured: i think it's that the size of the photos are massive and it's taking a while to render - it's a 10 meg camera and i didn't really chop any of them down, just converted from RAW to JPG. i've now turned on 'acceleration' to see if this helps things (caches entire webpages instead of dynamically loading them each time).

  • good pics docA - you really captured the spirit of the evening...

  • although we didn't pics of the rose going down your gullett :p

  • i have no idea what you are talking about ; )

  • you also had no idea about that route you took us on through hackney!

  • Or through Victoria Park!

Good work on the photos d0cA.

  • dogsballs although we didn't pics of the rose going down your gullett :p

To clarify, jonny was drinking rosé, not doing some crazy flower swallowing!

Great photos, makes me want to do it all again.

  • d0cA you also had no idea about that route you took us on through hackney!

i was using the force. i thought it worked nicely. only one fence to climb, and well, noone got killed...

  • Yeah, and you rustled up some scooter-riding hoodies at just the right time, to jemmy that padlock. I like to think that they always follow you, sorting out any little problems and generally making your life easy...

and always ready to do my hair with their hairdryers... yes, it is a pleasing thought
