nice bunch of guys and a good ride despite the football related traffic. drivers surprisingly very forgiving...well not incl that arsehole cab driver who tried to flatten lucky7 on our way home!!! wish i had the time, energy and will (or courage to take sickie today) to go all the way round. thanks asm, mashton and others who offered to help with my puncture (oh, levered super tight rubinos in...but thats for another thread!)
by the way, asm, i think ive seen you before. do you work in a bike shop?
i was one of the first ones at the meet point. funny how we tried to wave down every person with a single cog at the back...most not members of this forum apparently...funny, to them, we prob looked drunk and crazy or desperate for friends...hahaha

I love Abney Park cemetary. Its rad. Not so good on a road going bike though. Mud pluggers only (Especially if its been raining).

Brilliant night, thanks all. Can't believe Dogsballs even brought dry ice to give us the Halloween special effects, and for making a bloody bomb with it.
Also, genius game of making the security camera and nod to us in Stoke Newington. Love it.
See y'all again soon.
BTW, I am still rubbish with names: Stripey jumper guy, from Fulham, with the Fuji Track (Pro) (who I chatted to for ages), what's your user name? I got most people's names sorted in the pub later but you had left...

Mashton that was Matt, but he is yet a member of the forum.
He is a lurker! lol -

Fatboy - surprised you think i work in a bike shop when i completely failed to figure out how tyre levers work! No worries, punctures are rubbish & especially rear ones, so i felt it my duty as a cyclist to help! :) Also your name is misleading - you're a boy, and i take it your name is ralph, but you're not fat!
great ride last night everyone, i rode most of the way home no-handed because i realised that was easiest on my arse! It seems that the ride has aggravated my cold again though, spent most of today in bed. Saw a few new lfgss faces: nice to meet you m(att)ashton, onemagicru & flickwg!
d0cA: let me know when you're next going climbing - i'll come too!!!!
chandra: let me know if you need some more lube :) also can't wait to see the dolan!

He is a lurker! lolUmmm, thanks for that, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't called Matt. That's probably the only name I'd remember (same as mine!). He is in the photo above, on the right hand side, next to Doca, wearing a white Rapha cycling cap...

He rides a black trackbike with aerospoke, or a langster with woodprint all over it, or a ridiculous bike with a basket. But he doesnt really look anything like me...
Maybe i should get a job there!

I'll take the Bianchi over the Dolan, but that might be stepping over the line.... asm?
Saw it already and it looked fine I'm getting it from Andy, was previously Max's so should be fine, don't think its had too many crashes...I hope. -

welll dolan is a cool name, but my bianchi is shiny. Shinyness is very important in a bike.
-
• #222
the pics look appropriately gloomy and halloween esq dogsballs.
-
• #223
agreed, my Dolan is black and not very shiny :( go on swapsies, I'll throw in a kitkat.
