then this lunch time i think i glimpsed Rocksteady using the pavement to turn left into grazin road. a few mins later caught otters too. hello fellas.

yesteday - slaytanic dave going his usual bazillion miles an hour on clerkenfixed road !

spotted all the messengers on the steps... looks slow.

Sadly, messengers, like taxis, are some of the first to feep the effects of the economic slow down. With fewer deals being done, there is less traffic from banks. Lawyers increasingly use e-mail or web-based shared viewing unless signatures are required or bulk is too great (in which case they use vans). Advertising is being hit very hard right now which cuts down on traffic further. Not good times to be a messenger.

if you can work for a company with transmission service contracts then you can keep busy. There are quite a few soho/central, TV/broadcast companies running tape material all over. As TV still plays out whatever (despite credit crunch), if you can get work for a company regularly used/ has contract with these places, hopefully you can hold on. Xmas is busy time for TV companies too.
