I saw Tynan! Pushing his bike down Chancery Lane. And I was caught in a personal conundrum of weather to slow and introduce myself or just keep riding, safe in the knowledge that Finally I know he exists. I kept riding, and then just five minutes later I saw EM on Kingsland, and then down the road another guy I've met at Brick Lane Polo once... 'twas an evening for spotting indeed.

Today was a day for spots...
Riding to the Cycle show this morning, we happened upon Courier Mikey, who shouted 'aarrrgh' as we jumped the lights. Then caught up with Mackenzie and Mr Mackenzie just off Old Street. At Holborn Circus, Tommy was waiting on the other side of the road. No number of 'oi, Tommy!' shouts could get his attention, though...
Fucking great day to be riding, today...

Today I saw emilia, or maybe a courier who is her stunt double, riding down shaftesbury avenue. I was standing at the traffic lights in front of spamalot. You wouldn't have seen me as I had literally the biggest sandwich in the world glued to my face. I was hungry.

Ooh! Spotted an old-looking yellow Dawes frame (lugged) with blue tyres (same colour scheme as my old gearie (RIP)), locked up at the corner of Ebury Street and Elizabeth Street. I have such a soft spot for old Dawes frames. If anyone's ever getting rid of one, please let me know.
And just a few minutes ago - a couple of bikes locked up outside Hootananny on Effra Road. I only remember that one of them was covered in postage stamps! How cool is that? :-D

Who was that riding along Tooting Bec Road on a bike with white Deep Vs with a white or cream track frame with Paul's dropouts on it strapped onto his rucsac. Nice frame!

Actually I avoided getting nicked (well a £60 o.t.s.f really) with my typical charm and a warm slightly damp handshake.
You seemed to have weaved 'immigrants' into my views - naughty.
Same time next week ? I will bring some sandwiches and we can discuss what impact carbon fibre has had on the Vatican's views on homosexuality and the official Papal line on single speed / fixed.
:P
