baddesigner just spotted hippy riding out of brick lane heading down bethnal green road eastways. um, saw a dude on blue/white cruiser, fixed wheel, white deep-v's grab a coffee at lcb, and a guy on a nice chrome looking number (maybe a bianchi, maybe not) heading east along bethnal green road with tan bar wrap and white lid.
doh. so bad with names, nicknames and faces. and bikes too. sorry hippy, it was badrider.
there are two chaps who ride along old street, one i saw yesterday and one today, both matt black plain frames (make? dunno) with yellow deep v's and yellow wrap, cept on has drops and the other bullhorns. i saw an excelllent pale blue? roberts outside the gallery on columbia road last night (the show about the toaster fellow), white 3 spoke areo? front with white risers and gold finger? nice ride.
plus a hello to laura who bumped into vic and me this morning on clerkenwell road. -

saw some hip tall dude with a beanie on commercial street this morning, riding a smallish white Vivalo, brakeless, white aerospoke in front, purple deepV at the back. One of the cleanest bikes I've seen in London. A bit of a cliché of fixed-gear trendiness but nice.

Cool little orange Massi + Surly Steamroller + red and chrome Harry Hall all parked near me in the chity
This morning: Blue fixed? with no rear brake but large flat rectangle plate rear brake mount. Also, guy with 'big hair' riding west on Old St. followed by three other fixers. Also, one tired fscker on a heavy GT trying to get to work quickly with polo gearing.. oh that was me.. ;) -

Brixton 8.39am: Asian dude on a black IRO Mark V, deep Vs, some lycra action swinging left past the Ritzy onto the roundabout...
Brixton 8.40am: Cute dreadlocked girl on a pink frame with deep Vs heading north past Macdonalds...
Wish I was riding, I'm not on the bike today, takin' my girl out later... Tube was fucking awful! :-( -

I figure the fact that I cut down Lamb's Conduit St rather than coming along Theobold's Rd limits my opportunities to spot or be spotted significantly. Certainly if the number of fixies I spot when I get the tube and walk up from Holborn is anything to go by.
