What? Oliver, really! Dearie dearie me?
Well, I didn't invent SCOOT (and I think it's shit). And I didn't force Scoot to pick her username. :)
As an aside, I don't even know if Brixton Water Lane is on SCOOT, but I'd be very surprised if Brixton Town Centre wasn't. Tibbs can probably tell.

It would explain why I seem to have excellent luck with green lights.
I managed to get green lights the entire length of Blackfriars Road once....I thought that was a physical impossibility!

PS Railton Road a is way faster route through Brixton for you guys...
#justsayinI tried that route for a while but always seemed to get stuck behind a bus or other slow moving traffic, and the traffic lights by the market always seem to take an age. The Effra road way may be longer but at least you feel like you're getting there faster!
/flawedlogicRailton fo sho. If buses really a problem (can't say I'd noticed) can take Shakespeare and Loughborough road. Shakespeare is virtually traffic free - it's eery
Screw Railton (such traffic, many bus, much parked car..) Shakespeare is better and you get to ride past the Hadid-designed school/battleship.
Loughborough > Milkwood with a cheeky left turn at the end is the best route to Herne Hill velodrome (means you get off Brixton Rd sooner and also brings you out the right side of the train tracks in HH - misses all the lights and mess on the park side).

I like to go past le reej after track to see if I can spot any OG forumengers. Kind of like a vintage hipster safari park.

Just you wait for pedestrian SCOOT Oliver, just you wait. If you think SCOOT is pointless now you've seen nothing yet.

Hmmm, I don't think he had a beard, and he was more stocky than 'fat'...
I think he was riding a titanium bike. Obviously I didn't get a good look as I was going so fast and I am fabulous.
Grueptto is the new Finnish chapter.

Out in Kent this morning, I saw team Kinoko lead by Jammy heading towards the top of Starhill to descend as we had just ascended.
Also, a couple of blokes (one in Rapha hi-viz gilet) passed us (small group of three) near Knockholt and then stopped at the Cafe in Downe which we didn't have cash monies for. I was sure I recognised both or one of you from 'on here' but couldn't place a name.
