Spotted...

Was riding arms crossed near holborn and had someone step halfway into the road to give me a thumbs up with both hands. Dunno if it was someone from here minus bike or I just made some random dudes day.

Yesterday evening clad in lycra on my way to Stratford with an overpacked bag, I was going along Balls Pond Road and saw a girl on a fixed silver/grey Cinelli, with very long hair and a very packed black Mission rucksack, and cycling shorts.

Was going to say hi at the lights at Dalston Junction and be like 'Hey, we look kinda similar!' but then you RLJ'd up Kingsland Road.

Sounds like Clara, the Aussie version. All but the RLJ bit anyways!

Letter in the Evening Standard from one T Bendixson, University of Southampton, supporting cycling and walking. Naturally, I smelled a rat, but it turns out that it's a real person, and his first name is Terence. It is unconfirmed at this point what his views are on major A-roads.

He's actually president of Living Streets. I met him several years after picking this username but still lol a bit every time I meet him/he comes up in conversation.

I tried that route for a while but always seemed to get stuck behind a bus or other slow moving traffic, and the traffic lights by the market always seem to take an age. The Effra road way may be longer but at least you feel like you're getting there faster!

Two lads looked like they were on a short weekend tour, Mike and I both on fixed spotted them coming the other way down Castle Farm Road in Eynsford, one had an orange rim but they must be on here
