Anyone else see the ghetto electric BMX conversion with disc brakes and very untrue wheels over westminster bridge then round the back of Waterloo station?

Not sure who DAS'sd me coming through Dalston Junction a little after 8 this morning, apologies for no acknowledgement - I was in hot pursuit of a van!!

Mash bolt with risers and I think a front spok at junction of QVS and Cannon St yesterday around 6. I was en ped at the lights just as you set off. Didnt DAS as too busy checking out the bike!

Ok, going to to bring crank puller & spanners in with me tomorrow. Might also cable-tie note to frame with my number on to ask about paying the release fee. Don't ask, don't get right?
Dunnit. Liberated a sweet set of 165mm Chrome Sugino Messengers with 44t black chainring, (and shitty plastic BLB BMX pedals w/BLB straps).
Well chuffed with my freebies!

Cat & moused from Oxford Circus to Lancaster Gate with a guy on a Leader with a gnarly Mavic-looking 5 spoke front wheel. Dressed completely in black with hood up and scarf over face.
Firstly, a look over the shoulder wouldn't hurt before you pulled into my path as I was overtaking a car, although I guess your hood may have made that difficult. Secondly, get some oil on your chain!

Spotted on Paul St in Shoreditch
Cross bike, discs, knobbly tyres, Tri bars.
functional
The Old Street / Great Eastern street junction has always struck me as a more ludicrous and potentially dangerous junction than the Old St Roundabout, but now I work around that area I really enjoy watching the chantreuse cloud of malignancy and their insane commuter mods.

Chap with a frame covered in flowers on Surly Buds around Old Street - lost him at Farringdon. He was surprisingly nippy.

Fixie tosser on Marylebone Road at 1.30. White frame, saddle too high, jeans too low, colnago cap and rapha soft shell so probably on here. Was riding on the pavement, when asked if he was not man enough to use the road, his excuse was that he wanted to turn left and did not want to wait for the lights to turn green.

would you have been ok with it if it was a woman?

I shouted a very croaky DAS to Lolabelle and Markypoos this morning as they crossed Hornsey Road. Good to catch a glimpse of you, it brightened up my morning ride!
Hey Pops we thought it was you! It was great to be spotted. We dont see many people on our commute! Hope you guys are well.

Morning Hovis. Sorry for the awfully timed DAS. Between a van and a bus was probably not smart of me. Sorry!
Nice riding up Tottenham Court Rd with you though. -

I've chased him up and down Bayswater 3 times in last few days, not sure he's on here but dressed like should be...

Right, this poor thing is still here. Sort of. Both wheels have been nicked now as have the bars and stem. The rack has been broken off and left on the floor. All that remains is the frame itself, the rusty chain and the Sugino Messenger crankset, BMX pedals and straps. This morning I noticed it's got a notice on it saying it's going to be removed on Thursday.
I could really do with the crankset for a cheapo build. What are the morals with this sort of thing? Would I be well out of order to pop down at lunchtime tomorrow with a crank-puller or should I wait until they take it away and pay the release fee? Or should I just let it be taken away to lie unclaimed and eventually scrapped?
Advise me plse LFGSS.

Link says contact station or council. They might be pleased you're willing to take it for free and unlock it for you. That way no laws broken. -

This is how I came across my current beater/fixed road frame. I spent a year racking up next to a nice old steel road frame that was clearly abandoned, after about a year they decided to clear the area for a new building and stickers went up saying that all bikes would be removed on the NN date. I turned up that morning and found all the bikes had been cut free and had been dumped in a heap so I rescued the frame and it's served me well for the last 5 years at least.

Nice riding up Tottenham Court Rd with you though. No worries mate, I never abide to DAS's anyway, my tyres are too precious to me :)
Oh yeah. To the chump riding a fixed dolan from Camden to Streatham last night - RLJing doesn't bother me, but really, don't do it across the South Circular at the top of Brixton Hill. There's a ghost bike there for a reason.
