I had an uplifting spot on Duke Street Hill last night.
A chap on a Spesh Allez with crappy plastic pedals and vans but otherwise clad in Rapha lookalike gear aerotucked past LB station as if he was descending Col du Galibier. He then proceeded to try to trackstand at every set of lights but only managing to wobble forward at least 5 metres into the junction each time before doing his best Mark Cavendish impression as he theatrically sprinted away from the lights with his face almost touching his front tyre at all of 10mph before settling into a nice 15mph pace while frantically thrashing his head around and grimacing.
I don't know whether he genuinely rides like that or whether he was doing it for shits and giggles but it certainly tickled me pink.

I love it when I see people riding like that. They may look like idiots, but at least they're having a great time.

That sounds like me except for the Allez and plastic pedals.

He was definitely having a lot of fun. Put a smile on my face.

You mean that guy who rides a sweet fixie, drinks coffee and writes poetry all day? Massive fucking hipster.
I'm never writing another line of verse in my life. It's so 2012.

2012- verse and cross bikes.

Wrong, 2013 is all about good hair.

2014, a horrible hybrid of a Boardman/Cannondale/853 bike.

Digger on OKR yesterday, and I think Clever Pun on Loampit Vale this morning... at least, calf tattoos were involved, but hat and buff coverage prevented facial recognition. Black condor, anyway.

I am amazed at the amount of leg/s still on show at this time of year. Mental.
Spotted the lovely cafewanda this morning on Long Lane and a girl riding a brakeless (beautiful baby) blue sorta step through mixte brakeless number around Russell Square this morning. She rode very nicely. Chapeau lady.

With some people it takes a very bad experience to learn from their mistakes.

Double gloved this morning and still got to work feeling like Edward Scissorhands given the amount of co-ordination i had left in the ends of my fingers.
Legs have got to be on show though. HTFU!
the way it looked I would say they're no longer here :(
just seen adoubletap's update.. good news. I also thought I saw him by the loampit vale roundabout
