Middleofnowhere Matt, in the middle of nowhere on the grand union canal, was good to see you sir, hope the rowing was ace. We turned back shortly after seeing you and went to the pub. Those surfaces are horrible...
Good to see you too. Was a strange place to run into anyone, there is a reason everyone else on the towpath were riding mountain bikes. Not entirely surprising that not long after see you I came a cropper. Actually where the path became more solid, got tram-lined by a gap in the concrete surface then lost the front wheel on a mud patch just when I thought I'd regained control. Off to soak my injuries in beer.

Marcus of 5th Floor and TFG fame, shooting us some kind of two fingered gang sign when we requested he 'do a skid' outside the Victoria the other night. I trust it was in jest, as he seemed like a nice fellow when I met him at the track last year.

Last week a lady on a nice looking orange steel bike waved at me, a sort of low, fluttering wave, she smiled and had long flowing hair. I was just leaving elephant roundabout towards the walworth road, I think we were under the bridge, she was going the opposite direction. I sort of gawped as I tried to work out if I knew you, then smiled back as you turned away. I spent the ride home wondering if you had mistaken me for someone else, or were just being freindly.
Earlier toady I was picking up my jigsaw from my dad's house on clapham common west side. A bloke on a bright pink/purple low-pro, with colour matched risers, hubs, stem, rims and probably underwear, tootled past. A minute later I das'd you slightly sarcastically as I rode past, and got a laugh. Hope you had a nice afternoon.

Fat guy, sweating a lot... That would be me... Any where in particular? The bikes a genesis day one.
Oh and Jen, I saw you crossing my path going from the coach and horses road to clapham common this morning. Was going to shout, but your attention appeared to be on a car and you were frowning, so thought it best not to interrupt! I also saw arum a few days ago, but I forget where when!
Hm! I wonder what I was frowning at! Pretty much all drivers, really. Also: frowning may equal concentrating.

Spotted a rider trackstanding across the lights like a champ this morning in St Albans. That you had an Archie Grobag saddlebag, which I only spotted when you passed, left me speechless. On here?

I love the stewards in Hyde Park with the loud-hailer things, telling peds to not walk in the bike lane please. Especially when I was riding through there this evening (geared, lycra) and one of them announced: "please don't walk in the bike lane, Bradley Wiggins's little sister needs to get through"
